1.gravy train（S4E13）

gravy train躺着挣钱

Monica跟Joey说以后别再来白吃白喝了You can't eat our food anymore. That gravy train has ended. 

表哥和石油大亨的女儿结婚了，你就可以这么形容他：My brother ended up on the gravy train when he married his wife, whose family owns one of the largest oil companies in the world.

很多人都觉得李佳琦直播就是躺着挣钱。Many people think Li Jiaqi is on the gravy train, a live-streamer who can sell 15,000 lipsticks in just 5 minutes.

2. chemistry（S4E13）擦出火花，有感觉 

chemistry两个人有感觉，擦出火花了。

他们俩之间没有火花。There was no chemistry between them.

 如果你给朋友介绍相亲，他们俩有火花了，你就可说 I set them up. It's obvious that there's real chemistry between them.

除了chemistry, electricity可以表示同样的意思哦。

3.even out (S4E16)

even out 扯平，使平均

这个办法可以和你吃很多肉这事扯平。What if I said I could even things out for you, meat-wise?

他尽量把工作平均分给员工。He tried to even out the distribution of work among his employees.

底妆让你的肤色和肤质均匀。Foundation make-up evens out your skin tone and texture.

4.lay off(S4E16)

lay off 不再做什么事情、戒掉什么的意思。

比如你有朋友是酒鬼，你就可以劝他说，你最好远离酒精吧。I think you’d better lay off alcohol.

我有时候喜欢抱怨，朋友都烦了，他就会说Just lay off complaining for a minute!

5.out of one's hair(S4E18)

不打扰，不妨碍 out of your hair

我们拿点吃的就上楼，不妨碍你们。We‘ll grab some food, take it with us upstairs and be out of your hair.

一个全职妈妈整天要带娃，周末终于可以把娃丢给奶爸去做个spa了享受一下了。I've gotten the kids out of my hair for a day so I can get a relaxing spa by myself.

in one's hair 就是打扰某人的意思。

还是这个妈妈，一天都被孩子吵着他就可以说The kids are totally getting in my hair today.

公司里来了个实习生总是不停的问你问题，搞得你报告都不知道能否完成了。The new intern has been in my hair all day, so I don't know how I'm going to get my report finished before the deadline.
