《Jack and the Beanstalk》

相信大家都了解到了，在暑期E PLUS北外壹佳英语（原北外青少英语）举办了“21天悦读计划”打卡活动，意在通过不同的方式，帮助孩子们坚持阅读、爱上阅读。

那么其中呢，有10名表现突出的小学员被评审组选为代表，最终走进了我们的录音棚，录制属于他们的英文故事专辑。

接下来的几天，我们将持续为您带来孩子们的精彩表现，千万不要错过哦！

《Jack and the Beanstalk》

Jack and his mum had a cow. Each day, Jack took a jug of the cow’s milk to market.

One day, there was no milk! “Let’s sell the cow,” said Jack’s mum. “Then we can get some food.”

Jack and the cow set off to market. They met an old man.

“Will you sell me your cow?” he asked. “I’ll pay you five beans.” “All right,” said Jack.

When he got home, Jack’s mum threw the beans away! “Oh, Jack!” she cried. “What use are beans?”

The next day, one bean had grown into a huge beanstalk! Jack climbed up it.

At the top, he saw a giantess! “You look hungry,” she said. “I will bake some bread.”

But then  … 

Fee-fi-fo-fum! Can I smell a boy?

“It’s the giant! Quick, hide!” said the giantess.

The giant had lots of gold coins. He started to count them.

The giant fell asleep.Jack crept out of the chest and grabbed three gold coins. Then he ran home.

The next day, Jack climbed up the beanstalk again. “You look hungry!” said the giantess. “I will cook a pie.”

But then  …Fee-fi-fo-fum! Can I smell a boy?

“It’s the giant! Quick, hide!” said the giantess.

The giant had a hen. She laid golden eggs! 

The giant fell asleep.

Jack crept out of the pot and grabbed the hen. Then he ran home.

The next day, Jack climbed up the beanstalk for the third time.

“You look hungry!” said the giantess. “I will make a cake.”

But then  …Fee-fi-fo-fum! Can I smell a boy?

“It’s the giant! Quick, hide!” said the giantess.

The giant had a golden harp. He started to play it.

Then he fell asleep.Jack crept out of the box and grabbed the harp.

The giant woke up! “Come back!” he shouted. 

Jack ran down the beanstalk. The giant followed him!

But Jack’s mum stood at the bottom with an axe! She chopped down the beanstalk. 

So that was the end of the beanstalk, and Jack and his mum had all the food they needed!

1.在21天阅读打卡计划中，有哪些故事可以为我们分享？

雨茗妈妈：路雨茗非常期待每到假期北外壹佳英语举办的“21天悦读打卡”活动。

这个暑假，打卡活动更是持续长达58天，非常挑战孩子的毅力和耐心。在暑假中我们有连续几天外出旅行，不方便打卡的情况。为了不间断打卡，路雨茗在旅行前就提前录制了多次阅读视频，委托家人在接下来的每天上传一则。功夫不负有心人，在活动结束时孩子收获了满满的成就感和来自E PLUS北外壹佳英语的小礼物。

2.为了这次录音，和孩子做了哪些准备？

雨茗妈妈：在故事的准备过程中，通过与老师的多次沟通终于找到了合适的读本和音频。之后雨茗就进行了反复地阅读、跟读与朗读后，信心满满地走进了录音棚。

3.孩子在参与录音后，有了什么收获呢？

雨茗妈妈：孩子第一次走进专业录音棚，得到了北外壹佳英语专家老师逐字逐句的指导。

在平时，她自主阅读中忽略掉的语调，语气，随着故事高潮起伏变换的语速等等问题，都得到了老师的指正。录音结束后，雨茗对英语阅读和朗读的兴趣更浓厚了。

4.对于孩子的英语学习，您有哪些经验可以分享？

雨茗妈妈：首先为孩子选择一套系统化的教材，选择一家专业且离家近的机构，督促孩子认真完成课后作业。

其次要积极和老师沟通孩子的学习情况。在课后，按照孩子每个阶段的英语程度为她提供丰富有趣的英语资料。把英语阅读安排进每天的日程计划表，坚持就是最好的习惯。最重要的是要保护好孩子的兴趣，我认为这是英语学习的最大法宝了。
