Number 6: Consistency ismore important than hard work.

第六，坚持比努力重要。

Now, don't get me wrong,hard work is important. But we won't accomplish much by working hard for ashort time, becoming exhausted and then giving up. To achieve something great,we need to work at it consistently. This means that you need to pace yourself!Work as hard as you're able to sustain, but not so hard that you burn out.

好了，不要误会，努力确实很重要，但是如果我们三天打鱼两天晒网，逐渐厌烦，最终放弃，那么我们并不会有什么成就。要想成大事，就要持续不断地努力。这意味着你需要找到自己的节奏，要把握好努力的程度，让自己能坚持下去，不要用力过猛而让自己筋疲力尽。

Number 7: Stop assumingwhat other people are thinking.

第七，不要猜测别人在想什么。

We often worry about whatothers are thinking about us. Whether they are judging us for something we'vesaid, or something we've done. But the truth is, everyone around us is dealingwith their own problems, worries, and insecurities.

我们总是担心别人对我们有什么看法，对于我们说的话、我们做的事，他们是不是有什么想法。但是，事实上，我们身边的每个人都在对付他们自己的问题、忧虑、不安。

So, stop caring andassuming what others are thinking about you! Chances are, they aren't paying asmuch attention to you as you may think.

所以，不要在意那么多了，不要猜测别人对你有什么看法了！很有可能，他们对你的关注，并没有你想象中的那么多。

Number 8: Help others.

第八，帮助别人。

One of the greatest joysof life is giving back to others and helping people you care about. Evenhelping strangers can create feelings of happiness and accomplishment. Mostpeople on their deathbeds will regret not giving more to the people in theirlife. Don't be one of those people. Make more effort to give back and make adifference in other people's lives.

人生最大的快乐之一，就是回报和帮助那些你在乎的人。就算是帮助陌生人，我们也会很快乐，获得成就感。到了弥留之际，多数人会后悔当初没能付出得更多一些。请别做这样的人，努力回报他人，让他人的生活因你而不同。
