Number 1: Don't live bywhat you think you should or shouldn't do.
第一,不要靠着你认为自己该做或者不该做的事情来谋生。
Society and our family'sexpectations tend to make us think there are things we should or shouldnot do. However, living your life the way you want to, is the only wayto be happy!
社会和家庭对我们有期待,这让我们认为有些事情是该做的,有些是不该做的。然而,只有过自己想要的生活,才能获得幸福!
Don't limit yourselfbecause of other people's expectations. It's your life, and you should liveit in a way that makes you happy.
不要因为别人的期待而限制自己。这是你的人生,你应该怎么开心怎么过。
Number 2: Don't makethings bigger than they are.
第二,不要小题大做。
We can often makeproblems seem much bigger than they really are. That's because our minds liketo focus and exaggerate worries and problems that aren't actually that big of adeal.
很多问题可能并不严重,但是我们却把自己搞得很紧张。这是因为我们总是纠结一些小问题,高估了它们的严重性。
How many times have youthought something was a huge problem, but a day, week, or month later youdidn't even think about it anymore? Probably most of the time! So, try toeliminate all the unnecessary worry you put yourself through.
