Time never goes back
Once upon a time a teacher and his student lay down under a big tree near the big grass area. Then suddenly the student asked the teacher, "Teacher, I'm puzzled. How do we find our soul mate? Could you please help me?"

Silent for a few seconds, the teacher then answered, "Well, it's a pretty hard and easy question." The teacher continued ,"Look that way. There is a lot of grass. Why don't you walk there? But please don't walk backwards. On your way, try to find a blade of beautiful grass and pick it and then give it to me. But just one."

The student said OK and then he walked straight ahead to the grassy field. A few minutes later, the student came back empty-handed. When the teacher asked the reason ,the student said," On my journey, I found quite a few beautiful blades of grass, but I thought that I would find a better one, so I didn't pick it. But I didn't realize that I was at the end of the field, and I hadn't picked any because you told me not to go back, so I didn't go back." Hearing this, the teacher said," That's what will happen in real life."

What is the message of this story? In the story, grass is the people around you; the beautiful blade grass is the people that attract you and the grassy field is time. In looking for your soul mate, please don't always compare and hope that there will be a better one. By doing that, you'll waste your lifetime. Remember "Time Never Goes Back."

从前有位老师和他的学生们躺在一片绿草地旁的一棵大树下。突然，有个学生发问：“老师，我很疑惑。究竟我们怎样才能找到我们的灵魂伴侣呢？你能帮我解答一下吗？”



沉默了几秒后，老师开始回答：“嗯，这是一个说难不难，说容易又不容易的问题。”停顿了一下，老师接着说：“看那里，那里有很多草。不妨去那边走走。但是不能往回走。你边走边观察，试着找一棵你认为最美丽的草，摘下来并交给我。但是只能摘一棵。”



那个学生说好然后径直走向草地。几分钟后，他空手而归了。当老师询问他原因时，他说：“我在路上发现了很多漂亮的草，但是我觉得我会找到更好的，所以就没有把它们摘下来。不知不觉已经走到了草地的尽头，我这才意识到自己一棵草都没有摘，但是因为你说不要往回走，所以我没有回去。”听完后，老师说：“这是生活的常态。”



这个故事的主旨是什么？在这个故事里，那些草其实就是指你身边的人，漂亮的草特指那些吸引你的人，草地指我们短暂的一生。在你寻找灵魂伴侣的过程中，请不要总是攀比，妄想会有一个更好的伴侣在前面等着你。那样做只会浪费你有限的人生。请记住“时光已逝永不回”。
