Sometimes, what once belonged to you will be taken or go missing. That kind of loss and injustice will darken and dim your views of all that around you. But don't ever let them take away your light. They can only take away what's ephemeral. What's real will outlast all of us.

Perhaps a stronger way to look at loss, is to acknowledge and see what has stayed. Even in emptiness, there is positively, something there.
