The next chapter of FX's "American Crime Story" will dramatize former US president Bill Clinton's impeachment with a focus on Monica Lewinsky, Linda Tripp and other women central to the scandal.

The miniseries is scheduled to air on Sept 27, 2020, about five weeks before the 2020 presidential election. Lewinsky, who was a White House intern when she had an affair with Clinton, will be a producer on the project, FX Networks CEO John Landgraf said in announcing the project at a Television Critics Association meeting Tuesday. Clinton initially denied the affair before admitting to it in 1998.

Hair loss could be a thing of the past thanks to a new biotech startup, HairClone, which has launched the world's first hair follicle bank in the UK, where men and women can store frozen hair follicles.

The banking process begins with a consultation, in which a surgeon will decide whether a patient is suitable for banking. If the technique is deemed suitable, around 100 hair follicles will be removed from the back of the patient's head using a basic surgical procedure. These follicles are then cryopreserved and held in a storage facility at -180C. As its name suggests, HairClone then multiplies Dermal Papilla cells from these follicles, restoring both thickness and length, before re-implanting them in the patient's head. The hair follicle bank will be open to all adults, and will cost around ￡2,000.

Chinese online payment platform Alipay started issuing electronic certificates to couples who initially registered their marriages in Fujian, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Chongqing.

Married couples in those five regions need to complete a facial recognition process through the app to get a digital version of their marriage certificates issued by the local civil affairs department.

They can also make a reservation with local authorities to get a replacement of their lost paper certificate or cross-check marriage information. As a proof of marriage status, the certificate is a necessary legal document in mortgages, house sales, property notarization and children's enrolment in schools.

China's gold reserves rose for an eighth straight month in July, the central bank said Wednesday. Gold reserves stood at 62.26 million ounces in July, up 320,000 ounces month-on-month, data from the People's Bank of China (PBOC) showed. 

央行7日表示，7月，我国黄金储备连续八个月上升。中国人民银行的数据显示，7月，中国黄金储备6226万盎司，环比增加32万盎司。

As the world's biggest producer and main consumer of gold, China's holdings of gold make up a small percentage of its total foreign exchange reserves. China's foreign exchange reserves stood at $3.1 trillion at the end of July, official data showed Wednesday. 

作为全球最大黄金生产国和主要消费国，我国所持黄金仅占外汇储备总额的一小部分。7日发布的官方数据显示，截至7月底，我国外汇储备达3.1万亿美元。

Net gold purchases by global central banks reached 374.1 tons in H1, the largest net increase in global official gold reserves on record, according to the World Gold Council (WGC). More central banks of emerging markets are accumulating gold reserves at a steady pace, the WGC reported.
