"Living with the Lams," a forthcoming children's sitcom on a British Chinese family scheduled to be aired on CBBC, the BBC's children's television arm, has been facing accusation of racism, the Guardian reported.

The 10-episode planned show centers on a Chinese family running a restaurant in Manchester and features a father performing in a band called "Wok and Roll" and a grandma who "spits on the floor and eats fortune cookies all day" according to people familiar with the first two scripts.
