经典必学对话：逃掉体育课

A: What classes do we have this afternoon, Emily?

今天下午什么课，艾米丽？

B: Check the timetable.

看课程表。

A: I don't know where it is.

我不知道在哪里。

B: It's on the wall, next to the blackboard.

在墙上，黑板旁边。

A: Oh, no.

噢，不。

B: What's wrong?

怎么了？

A: We've got double PE after lunch. 

午饭后我们有两节体育课。

B: Double PE? What a nightmare. 

两节？真是噩梦。

A: I know what you mean. I'm always so tired in the afternoon. 

我知道你什么意思。下午我总是很累。

B: It's not just that. The teacher's terrible too.

不只是这个。老师也很恐怖。

A: In what way?

怎么说？

B: He always pushes us too hard. 

他总是逼我们很紧。

A: Does he make you run?

他让你们跑步了吗？

B: He makes us do everything. Run, jump, skip, climb. 

他让我们做所有，跑步，跳，爬。

A: Why is that?

为什么会这样？

B: He's a former soldier, apparently. 

很明显，他以前是士兵。

A: Well, this isn't the army, this is high school. Then let's skip it. We can go somewhere else.

但是这里不是军队，这里是学校。我们逃课吧，我们去别的地方。

B: I haven't got enough money to go shopping again.

我没有足够的钱再次购物。

A: How about going to the movie theater? That's not too expensive.

去电影院怎么样？这不贵。 

B: Is there anything you want to see?

你有什么想看的电影吗？

A: There's a new movie with Sylvester Stallone. That looks good. 

西尔韦斯特.史泰龙有一部新片。看起来不错。

B: Is it an action movie?

动作片吗？

A: It has some action in it.

里面有点动作。

B: I hate action movies. They're so violent.

我讨厌动作片，太暴力。

A: That's the whole point of action movies. 

这才是动作片的精髓啊。

B: What are the other  choices?

有没有其他的选择？

A: There's also a comedy called My China Girl.

有一部喜剧片叫我的中国女孩。

B: What's it about?

关于什么？

A: An English boy falls in love with a Chinese girl. 

一个英国男孩爱上一个中国女孩。

B: That sounds interesting. Who's in it?

听起来很有趣，谁演的？

A: Nobody famous.

没有名人。

B: Well, we can decide what to watch when we get there.

我们可以到那儿再决定看什么。

A: Good idea. Let's get out of here. 

好主意，我们走吧。
