FBI officials interviewed Hillary Clinton as part of an investigation into 
her use of a private email server.

The question of whether her side-stepping of official computers constituted mishandling of classified information has haunted her campaign. 

It is unlikely to be resolved before the convention later this month at which Mrs Clinton will presumably be nominatedas the Democratic presidential candidate.

Myanmar’s first freely chosen parliament in more than 50 years elected the country’s new president. 

Htin Kyaw is a writer, computer scientist and long-time confidante of Aung San Suu Kyi, the country’s famed democracy activist, who has promised that she will be “above the president”. 

Mr Htin Kyaw takes office on April 1st.
