4.The witch finds out（赖老师精心解读）

The man returns to the garden. This time, the witch is there.
"What are you doing in my garden?" says the witch. "Are you taking my
vegetables? Well then, I will turn you into a frog!"
"Please don't harm me," begs the man. "The lettuce is for my sad wife.
She might die if she doesn't eat it."
The witch thinks for a moment.
"You may take the lettuce to your wife," she says. "But you must give me
something, too. Your wife will soon have a baby girl. You must give the
baby to me."
The man is very scared. He agrees to give his child to the witch.
