I am sorry but I am not going to make our 9 am meeting on time / make it to our 9 am meeting on time. I am running late for our 9 am meeting Something came up/has come up, I had to go to the hospital. In British English “go to hospital” means you are a patient. “Go to the hospital” means you are going there for some other reason. American English doesn’t have “go to hospital”. So, I would be there in 20 min. Would it be possible if I take a rain-check/to postpone/reschedule to Tuesday? Thank you so much for the waiting. I am so sorry for the delay. This stuff goes in sequence.
