基数词就是1、2、3……。序数词就是第1，第2，第3……。

一、基数词

1. 1-12

one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve

2. 13-19

thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen

3. 20-90整十数

twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety

4. 百位以上（前加基数词不变复数）

百 hundred

千 thousand

万 ten thousand

十万 one (a) hundred thousand

百万 million

千万 ten million

亿 one (a) hundred million

十亿 ［美］billion ＝［英］one (a) thousand million

注意：［英］billion ＝［美］trillion

二、序数词

1. 所有序数词前都加定冠词 the 。

2. 第1-第19

the first (1st), the second (2nd), the third(3rd), the fourth (4th), the fifth (5th), the sixth (6th), the seventh (7th), the eighth (8th), the ninth (9th)…（以下序数词均是 the +基数词th）, the nineteenth (19th)

3. 第几十（将基数词尾 ty 变为tieth）

the twentieth (20th), the thirtieth(30th)...

4. 第几十几（the +十位基数词-个位序数词 ）

the twenty-first(21st), the twenty-second(22nd), the twenty-third(23rd)...

5. 第几百及以上（the + 基数词+数量单位th）

the one hundredth, the one thousandth, the one millionth, the one billionth
