Hollywood portrayals of rich businessmen often show young hot start gunners taking huge risks while they say something like, You have to spend money to make money baby. This is not the case. Cover the costs you need to, but avoid overspending. Avoiding overspending is one of the top ways rich people become rich in the first place. 

在刻画富商的好莱坞大片里面，富商常对年轻的创业者说的一句话就是：想要挣钱，得先花钱。但事实并不是这样的。日常的支出确实不能省，但是你要避免过度消费。富人之所以有钱，就是因为最开始的时候他们就明白了这个道理。 

If you are just beginning your career, this is the first habit you need to develop. If you ever take a financial risk, it needs to be extremely calculated. Otherwise, keep costs as low as possible while still putting out a quality product. If you overspend on the little things, it will become a habit and soon you will be sinking way too much money into the company car. Successful people develop reasonable budgets and they stick to them. 

如果你刚开始创业，你最需要养成的就是这个习惯。如果你在财务上冒风险，一定要经过谨慎的计算。另外，要尽可能地降低成本，同时不能降低产品的品质。如果你在杂七杂八的东西上花费过多，你就会养成乱花钱的习惯，很快你就会为公司买一辆昂贵的汽车。成功的人都懂得做合理的预算，并且遵守这个预算计划。
