Dean: Uh, yeah, is this Florrick-Agos & Associates? 嗯，这里是Florrick-Agos律师事务所么？
Robyn: It is. We're in the midst of remodeling. Pardon our dust. 是的。我们正在改造。抱歉这灰尘太大。
Dean: Is Alicia Florrick here, please? 请问Alicia Florrick 在这里么？
Robyn: Uh, no. She just stepped out. 不在。她刚出去。
Dean: Okay, Mr. Agos? 好。Agos先生在么？
Robyn: Well, no. Sorry. 抱歉，也不在。
Dean: Do you have any sense when he'll be back? 你知道他什么时候回来么？
Robyn: Five to ten. Oh, that's a joke. I really can't say. Are you looking for representation? 五到十年。噢，开玩笑的。我不是很清楚。你是来找法律事务代理的么？


1. 首先，找一个人的时候可以说：
Is … here, please? 请问...在么？
Is Timothy Stevens here, please? I’m a client of his. 请问Timothy Stevens在么？我是他的客户。


Is… around? ...在么？
Is the person in charge of this office around? I’d like to speak with him or her. 请问这间办公室的负责人在么？我想和他/她说点事情。


2. 说某人不在
She just stepped out. 她刚出去。
Mr. Lane just stepped out. Can I take a message for you? Lane先生刚出去。我能帮他捎个信么？


Someone’s not here/around . 某人不在。
The boss isn’t around, but you can tell me and I’ll tell him. 老板不在。但是你可以告诉我，我帮你转达。


3. 问某人什么时候回来。
Do you have any sense/idea when he'll be back? 你知道他什么时候回来么？
Do you have any idea when she’ll be back? I have to show her something important. 你知道她什么时候回来么？我有重要的东西给她看。 


Did she/he say when she/he will be back? 他/她说过他/她什么时候回来么？
Did Jackie say when she’ll be back? I need her to sign something. Jackie说过她什么时候回来么？我需要她签个字。


4. 告知某人何时回来：
Some will/should be back… 某人会在.../应该在...回来。
The IT guy’s not here, but he should be back any minute now. IT部门的那个人不在。但是他应该会随时回来。


Give someone… 等某人...
Carl’s on his break. Give him ten minutes. Carl在休息。等他十分钟就好。


5. 说你不知道某人什么时候回来:
I really can’t say. 我不是很清楚。
I really can’t say when he’ll be back. He’s out on important business. 我不是很清楚他什么时候回来。他有重要的公事出去了。


I have no idea when she’ll/he’ll be back. 我不知道他/她什么时候回来。
I have no idea when Mr. Rose will be back. He’s been gone the whole day. 我不知道Rose先生什么时候回来。他已经出去一整天了。
