attribute to和owe to的区别为：意思不同、用法不同、侧重点不同。

一、意思不同

1、attribute to：把某事归因于某人（某事），认为某作品出自某人之手，认为某事（物）属于某人（物）。

2、owe to：欠…（某物），应该感谢，把…归功于（说明）owe to作此解时不用于进行体。

二、用法不同

1、attribute to：attribute作名词修饰人的裤搏时侯，所指的特征往往是说人的品质或天赋，并非哪一种功能或能力，且要注意attribute不表示一个过程，不应把某个过程看成是特征的组合。

2、owe to：owe表示“欠(债)”与介词for连用时，后面只接物，与介词to连用时，后面可物纯猛接人，也可接物或事物。如果owe的宾语是动词不定式或名词从句，可使用it作形式宾语，将充当真正宾语的动词不定式或名词从句放在罩桥句尾。

三、侧重点不同

1、attribute to：A attribute B to C 表示的意思是A认为（把）C（看成）是B的原因。也就是A认为B和C有因果关系。

2、owe to：owe的主语和宾语之间存在所有关系，A owe B to C，表示的意思是因为C而A得到（拥有）了B。
