Reward, recognition, praise. It doesn't matter how you do it; what matters is that you do it, again and again and again. The bottom line on rewarding employee is this. Sure, money's wonderful. But it's not the only effective reward. If you have money to spend, use it intelligently. Reward excellence. Encourage employee participation. Spend it in ways people appreciate.
