山东快板是一种平词说唱艺术。发源于山东。是中国曲艺曲种。因用两块大竹板儿(大板儿)和五块小竹板儿(节子板儿)而得名。大小竹板儿合称为"七块板儿"。传统快板表演形式有单口、对口、群口快板，还有快板书。表现的艺术特点是短、明、快。通常表演剧目是根据历史演义或者神话传说改编而成。随着新中国建立和改革开放，快板书也与时俱进，创作出一些现代段子，通常都是教育人们知书达理、明辨是非的段子。
